AMX50xx Compatibility
=====================

- Revision 3.0.0.1 of AMX50xx is fully compatible with the following

	AMWorks		5.0.0.4 
	AMX5100		1.1.3.42 and higher.
	AMX5120		1.2.2.22 and higher.
	AMIQ-PS2	2.0.0.2  and higher.
	AMIQ-VSN	3.0.0.1  and higher.
	AMIQ-WSN	3.0.0.1  and higher.
	AMIQ-USB	3.0.0.1  and higher.

How do I update?
===============
You may update the firmware from AMWorks 5.0.0.4 or from your current revision of AMWorks. 

We recommend that you first update AMWorks to 5.0.0.4.



How do I update the firmware on my AMX50xx Devices?
==================================================

1. Install AMWorks as described in the release notes entitled "AMWorks_5_0_0_4_Rel_Notes.txt".

2. From your newly installed AMWorks, Select 'Admin Tools - Firmware Update' from the menu.

3. Select all of the AMX50xx devices on your configuration.

4. From the "firmware update" dialog, select the update file for the AMX50xx devices. 
    This file will be named "amx50xx.avt". Ensure you select the revision 3.0.0.1. 

5. Select "begin update", and all firmware updates will complete. You may update all of your 
    AMX50xx devices in parallel, for fastest results. It will take about 5 minutes for the 
    firmware updates to complete.

		- Switch times are up to 5 times faster.
		- Supports extended event logging on AMWorks.
