This directory contains support files for the AMX5000 product.

AMX 5000 COMPATIBILITY
======================

- Revision C.0.0.12 is compatible with the following

	AMX5000		All revisions
	AMIQ-PS2	All revisions
	AMIQ-VSN	All revisions
	AMIQ-WSN	All revisions



How do I upgrade?
=================
To upgrade the flash in your AMX5000 you will need to copy the required file
from this folder to a machine running AMWorks.  Then follow the instructions
in AMWorks for downloading 
1. 	Download the file "AMX5000_C_0_0_12_pinitrd" to a drive that is accessible
  	by the machine running AMWorks.
2.	Rename the file to pinitrd.
3.	Using the AMWorks software, download the file to all the AMX5000s that
	are to be upgraded. This is done by selecting Admin Tools - Firmware
	Upgrade, selecting the file pintrd and the names of the AMX5000 to be
	upgraded, and start.
4.	Each AMX5000 will take approximately 2 minutes to update.
Note: 	The AMX5000 will reboot on completion of the upgrade.
