		AMIQ-PS2 server interface module firmware version

This release contains the following version: 
        
	Application Code	4.0.5.0   		 
 	Boot Code	4.0.2.0
	FPGA		2.0.8.0     

This version of AMIQ-PS2 firmware uses amiqps2.avt files for upgrade of  AMX™ switch products.

		AMIQ-PS2 server interface module fimrware compatiblity

This release is compatible with the following firmware:

	AMX5000 switch		All revisions.
	AMX5010	 switch		All revisions.
	AMX5100 user station	Basic functionality with all revisions.
				- Full Japanese and Korean layout support with version 1.1.6.3 
                                                         or higher only
				- No Extended Keyboard Support.	
	AMX5110	user station	Basic functionality with all revisions.
				- No Extended Keyboard Support.	
	AMX5120	 user station	Basic functionality with all revisions.
				- Extended Keyboard Support with revision 1.3.0.0 
                                                         or  higher only
	AMWorks® software	Version 3.0.3.6
	AMIQ-PS2		Version 2.0.0.2 (app) 2.0.0.0 (boot) and higher.


This release is compatible with the following hardware:
	AMIQ-PS2		All hardware revisions for AMIQ-PS2. 


This release will introduce new features that will only operate with the following revisions: 
	AMX5000	 switch		From revision 3.1.0.0 
	AMX5010	 switch		From revision 3.1.0.0 
	AMX5100	 user station	From revision 2.0.0.9 
	AMX5110 user station	From revision 2.0.0.9

                     How to upgrade the AMIQ-PS2 server interface module 
===============================================================================
To upgrade the flash in the AMIQ-PS2 server interface module,  you will need to copy the file 
AMIQPS2.avt to a machine running AMWorks software rev 3.0.3.6 or higher (5.0.0.22 recommended).
Then follow the instructions in AMWorks software for downloading the new software. 

1. Download the file "AMIQPS2.avt" to a drive that is accessible by the machine running 
    AMWorks software.

2. Using the AMWorks software, download the file to all the AMIQ modules  that are to be 
    upgraded. This is done by selecting Admin Tools - Software Upgrade, selecting the file 
    "AMIQPS2.avt" and  the names of the AMIQ modules to be upgraded, and then click 
     begin upgrade.
